10 Simple Things.

So since I've moved, I have noticed there are certain things I miss from home.
Of course I miss my family and friends and maybe high school (yeah, right), but sometimes when I'm doing something, I stop and think, "Wow, I really miss the simplicity of that". Sometimes, the smallest things can just make you smile in the worst of days.  I miss the simplicity of being in the presence of my family, even when we aren't doing anything spectacular. I miss the simplicity of everyday happenings such as-

1) Waking up to the super-obnoxious espresso machine my parents had. My dad got up around 5:00 in the morning so he would get coffee and it would wake me up. I hated it at the time, but I kinda-sorta miss it now.

2) Hugs from Liana's dog, Rocky (I call him Rocky-feller). He's old and a tad grumpy but he'd curl up in my lap or if Liana and I were sleeping, he'd curl up on top of us.

3) Having jam sessions with my best friends Joel & Andrew. It was like having my own personal concert, we would just hang out, not even talk, and just play our guitars.

4) When my mom would keep the pantry stocked with my favorite snack.

5) Eating dinner with my family. Every night.

6) Falling asleep on the couch and waking up to my dog's wet nose against mine telling me to get off my lazy bum.

7) Babysitting these munckins'.

8) Late night cravings that involved getting fast-food.

9) Lazy days.

10) Nights with Liana. In which we did nothing but stay up late, eat ice-cream, dance to Ke$ha and looked up elementary classmates on Facebook.
