To the beach, around the block, and back!

Liana and I with our baseball caps.

She recently dyed a few strands purple and wanted me to capture the "essence" of it.
So here is my attempt.

Her older sister Alicia has been studying abroad since July last year and she gets to see her
for the first time in over a year today!
This was my product after I asked her how excited she was to see her:)

We ate dinner at this quaint pizza place and walked out the door  to find
ourselves in a cute brick alley which became our version of "Little Italy"

My best friend from elementary school, Rylee, took this photo with her iPhone and messed
around with an app that turned it into this. I think it's a pretty cool picture!
Shows my American pride!

Oh golly! Well, these past two weeks have been fairly busy to say the least. Brother got married (to one of my most favorite people;), went to the beach a few times and well, I'm in the process of packing for college. So before I get deep into wedding photos and all the bliss there was that day, these are a few beach pictures with a couple friends. And I promise, I will be back!

Being "Grown-Up" and whatnot!

So this here is my soul-sister Liana. You may recognize her  and her booty from THIS PICTURE. I really don't know the definition of a soul-sister, but it's basically my best friend, my other half. So anyway, since graduating, we planned on taking some of our graduation money and going shopping and kinda spending it;) We thought, "Hey! Two teenage girls with bank accounts and debit cards, our parents should NOT be okay with this". So our version of shopping ended up being scared out of our wits to spend our money because you feel guilty and we have no idea why. We'd much rather sit at a little cafe and watch cute old men with suspenders help their wives shop (creepy, I know). But personally I think old men are rather sweet because they still know how a man should treat a lady and they're such gentle men. Anywho, so we went shopping and only bought a couple things for college and saved the rest of our money. We spent all day walking around, "looking" at clothes , eating at the Corner Bakery Cafe, drove back home around midnight, had In-N-Out and proceeded to have a girls night. We like the call it "The First Grown-Up Thing We've Done."

After our day when we were fussy and Liana said, "Tone your sass down Kelsey!"
My new favorite quote:)

Happy July 4th to you and you and you!

I'm pretty stinking proud of my shorts, even though I am the messiest spray-painter you
ever did see. My dad says I can't tag anything cause I leave the evidence on my legs.
(Seriously, when it says to hold the can 10 inches from surface, take caution of
that and the wind)
I followed this tutorial HERE

This here is John of John and Glenda.

Caily and I are pretty dang impressed with ourselves.

Lewis and Clark, totally in sync with each other and everything.

We lay on the hood of the boat.
(Is it a hood? What is that thing called?)

The Fourth of July is always kinda big in our family cause a few family members have served and because we just plain love the holiday! Every year since I can remember, we celebrate up in Big Bear with John and Glenda and other wonderful friends. It was incredibly sad without Glenda (more on that later), but we tried to make the best of it. We barbequed and then walked down Pine Knot Ave, go to the dock and sit in John's boat for the fireworks show. It was quite wonderful! Hope you had a wonderful day as well and Happy 236th Birthday America!
